How To Edit HTML 5 Viewer Colors

Note: Edits to HTML5 Viewer Colors affect the Viewer of the entire publication.

1. From your dashboard, hover your mouse over the “Edit Settings” logo next to the publication you wish to make changes for.

2. Click on “Publication”

3. Select "Advanced Settings."

4. Navigate to the “HTML 5 Settings” section. Select any of the options within this section to edit.

5. After you have completed your edits, select "Save" at the top of the page to complete the process.

Note: You can either visually select colors by clicking on the color box to bring up our color gradient tool, or by inputing a hexadecimal value into the appropriate field.

  • Toolbar Background: sets the color of the HTML 5 Viewer toolbar
  • Toolbar Opacity: sets the opacity of the toolbar
  • Toolbar Text Color: sets the color of the text in the HTML 5 Viewer toolbar

Drawer Background:  sets the color of the for the following sections: Launch Pad Menu, Contents View, Share Menu, Search Menu and the Navigation Menu

  • Dividing Line: sets the color of the dividing lines for the following sections: Launch Pad Menu, Contents View, Share Menu, Search Menu and the Navigation Menu
  • Background Image: allows you to upload a file (jpeg or png) to use as a background for the HTML5 Viewer
  • Background Display Method: sets the orientation of the background image
  • Action Button Color: sets the color of action button icons that are across the HTML 5 Viewer
