Create A Template Using The Email Designer

The Email Designer is an easy-to-use editor that allows you to create and edit email templates within your browser.

1. From your dashboard, click "Setup"

3. Click "Templates" from the Email Marketing Control Panel.

5. Fill in the form using the following steps:

For Details

Subject - This is one of the first items readers will see in their inbox.

Subject - This is what recipients see when the email lands in their inbox.
Note: You can type in text or use merge tags to create personalized messages.

Description - This is for internal purposes to identify templates. Readers do not see this field.

Description - This is your own description; users do not see this field.
Tip: Include the publication name and issue name. Example: Publication Name, Summer 2017.

Email Profile - This contains the From Name, From Email Address, Reply Name, Reply Email Address.

Email Profile - Select the email profile you wish to use with this template.

Select the 'Email Designer' tab and choose an email template or select a Blank Template. Click on the 'Create a New Template' button at the bottom of the page.

6. Edit your email template using the Email Designer.

Note: The template must include an opt out link, whether it is the default {?$optout_content?} or your own. This will be formatted as an Opt-Out link when previewed or sent.
